In 1996 I took first place in the 'D' division.
I have a clock/trophy with the Mullet-Hover logo and 1st place Men's singles D on it, that I still use in my bath room.
Since then, I have received a C first place Pen and Pen set with a clock that sits on my desk.
And I have two 'B' first place trophies, one a plaque, and one a glass trophy. the last one was in 2002.
Every year there have been nice trophies, I have some from doubles and second places.
Today, November 20th, my youngest turns 18 in Chaing Mai, Thailand, and I took first place in Mens A.
Woot! Woot!
This makes me feel pretty good.
There is only one division above that and they don't let old men play in it
(or they shouldn't let old men play in it)
So this is the culmination of my racquetball experience.
I can sell all my racquets and retire.
and instead of a trophy that would last forever, I got this:
Yip, I got a coupon.
My family will tell you that Sizzler is one of my favorites.
(maybe not after my last birthday dinner there)
So I will get some use out this.... but....
Would it be to vain for me to buy my own trophy?

Congrats dad, just don't make us go to sizzlers for thanksgiving. And maybe I'll get you a trophy made.
I am so very proud of you!!
Do it Whitney but make it a unique one. I'm sure you could come up with something great.
Wow! Very exciting!! If that's not in the sports page tomorrow - it should be.
What was wrong with your last birthday at sizzlers?!
