THE WISDOM OF TAO

He who knows other men is discerning; he who knows himself is intelligent. He who overcomes others is strong; he who overcomes himself is mighty.

Just because I don’t care doesn’t mean I don’t understand.

In order to get a driving test there should be an IQ test.

Everybody drives and has been driving, some of us for a long time, and we think we are way better then average. Like speaking English, we have been doing it all our lives so we think we are masters at communication.

Well some of us are not.

I think it is obvious that everyone can't be better then average.

OK, here is what is bugging me:
Even if you are not the best driver in the world, isn't it easy to understand you don't make a left hand turn on a two lane road and wait for oncoming traffic while you are in the center of the lane?

Doesn't it make sense that if you put the left wheel on the center yellow strip then cars behind you can squeeze by on the right side and you won't have 18 cars backed up behind you?

I think it makes perfect sense, and if Joe average me can understand that, then that women* in the red Toyota van on 100 east in Pleasant Grove at 6:10 pm on April 1st, should be able to understand.
But there she* was, closer to the white line on the right then the yellow center lane. There she was with 18 cars behind her.

Common people, focus on the driving.

* this is not to say that women are better or worse then men, this is just what happened.
