THE WISDOM OF TAO

Let's not Offened the Faggots.

Think for just a minute of all the horrid language in the Movies, Songs and Comedy.

Take a moment longer.

I think of my mom being offended by the 'F' word and walking out of All the Presidents Men.
(she was also pretty offended by the other 'F' word)

OK

The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council has ruled that "Money for Nothing," a Dire Straits hit from 1985, is too offensive for Canadian airwaves. The song is being singled out for the repeated use of an anti-gay slur — "that little faggot" — in its second verse.

This hasn't stopped some Canadian classic rock radio stations from playing the song. In the days since the ruling, stations in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Edmonton, Alberta have protested the decision by playing an unedited version of the song on repeated for a full hour.

So we are not to concerned about offending God, by taking his name in vain, but we sure don't want to offend the transvestites and queers.

Let's take a survey to see how many people are offended by profanity, the F word, or an anti-gay slur.
the only problem with that is nobody notices when there is profanity anymore.
